Radio Personality: Mr. Henry did the morning gospel hour on Dayton’s WDAO. His show started around 4 AM, and he would play contemporary gospel music, and provide some morning inspiration and ministering. If you were a young man in Dayton, in the early 70’s, this was the last voice that you wanted to hear on your car radio, because on the one hand, it meant that unless you had an 8-track in your car, you would have to do without the “funk” for an hour, but even more important, it meant that you had stayed out way too late, and Stanley would make you feel guilty for whatever you were doing all night…
