Reggie “moon” Morgan
Guitar: Started his career as the lead guitarist for Crystal Love in 1973. He was a long time friend of William Shelby since 8 years old. He was not familiar with R&B music as such because he always played heavy rock and roll, and lot of Jimi Hendrix and Parliament Funkadelic. The band was 3 pc for almost a year, He was responsible for all treble parts, keyboard lines, strings and horns. This taught Reggie to be one of the best “pocket guitarist” in Dayton.

After the disbandment of Crystal Love He started a group call “Fantasy” This group lived and played in and around Detroit until returning back to Dayton in 1979. Then he played with “Gem City Starship”, which spun off into a group known as Phoenix.
