Harry McLoud
Rhythm Guitar/Vocals. One of Dayton’s premier “fiddle players”. Harry (or “HarryO”) first began playing guitar at age 13 and has been involved with music on both local and national scenes for over three decades. After cutting his teeth with high school groups The Capris and The Swangos, he attended CSU and performed with The Brute Force, opening shows for jazz icon Herbie Mann. After college, either as a guitarist or road staff member, came: Over Nite Low, The Ohio Players, Dayton, Shadow, The Commodores and Faze-O. He has been host and executive producer of his own TV show “The Promising Young Stars Jazz Series” for the City of Dayton and helped coordinate “The Dayton Street Funk Exhibit” at the Nat’l Afro-American Museum in Wilberforce, Ohio.
