Biography.This group started locally as a singing group called the Nomads, and joined later  with the Young Underground. After co-founders Brian Mullberry and Tony Joe White exited the group, they added Shirley Woods and Tommy Shelby. After a year, Shirley moved on. Veteran vocalist, Ricky Abernathy joined the group, and they moved out to Hollywood, where they released a string of classic R&B LP’s and Singles.
