Club Utopia
About 70 miles north of Dayton, in Lima, Ohio, Carol Johnson had a little night spot that pulled players from all over the tri-state area (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana). She rallied some of Dayton’s best acts into the club over the years, (Lakeside, The Bad Bunch, The Image, Satori, The Different Shades of Brown) and they would pack it out, even in knee deep snow storms. If you’ve never partied at the Utopia, you probably were not a true player.
