Keyboard/Guitar.Vocals. The musical leader of the group Zapp. Roger had been known in the Dayton area as a great guitar player, since day one. He was actually from the Hamilton, Ohio area but he and his brothers worked and eventually moved into Dayton. His legendary “talk box” sound has become a staple in R&B music, as he recorded with Doctor Dre, and Tupac, as well as gospel the group Sound Of Blackness. He was recently found dead of gunshot wounds. Information Please
