Mayo’s Skating Rink – The Mayo Family
The Dayton Music Guide is dedicated to the generation of great memories from the “Good.Old.Days”. We would be remiss in our duty, if we don’t mention Skating. This was one of our favorite pastimes besides a good Talent Show, and it was all about music, and some serious dancing on wheels. This was the main Skating Venue in the late 1950’s, the place with the Donkey Statue in the front yard.
