Cincinnati, Ohio. “The Dayton invasion” was a phenomenon that occurred when a Dayton group found a new club in the tri-state area. One group would recommend the next, and before you know it the club was running Dayton groups back to back to back. The Clock Bar was one of the clubs on the tour. We sometimes had to put a man on the door to keep an eye on their man on the door, but there was money to be made based on how well the group could pack the club, because they liked to only pay a percentage of the gate. The stage was small, and there was this silly iron gate at the edge of the stage, which made it look like the groups were playing inside of a cage.
