Charles “Mabe”Jackson

Vocals/Percussion One of the founding members of the Stone Soul Image, remaining with the group from it’s beginning to the end. After the great band revolution of the 1970’s killed off singing groups in Dayton, he picked up the Congas and joined the group Satori, and later Record Player. In 1982 he headed to Los Angeles where he and Reggie Crutcher formed the group Arogance. After a couple of failed Recording Deals, he finally took up production and A&R as Music Director for the fledgling Pick Records label.
